Your role as a Nurse Aide:

Participates in the development of and implements all aspects of the resident service plan including purposeful lifestyle activities, planned and spontaneous activities, assistance with ADL and IDAL, and other programming and assistance as designated.

Team members needed:

Full Time: 3:00pm-11:30pm

Shift Premiums

3:00pm-11:30pm ($13.00/hr + $0.75 shift premium)

11:00pm-7:30am ($13.00/hr + $0.50 shift premium)

rn/STaffing manager

The RN/Staffing Manager will plan, direct, and deliver nursing care utilizing the personal service plan to address the physical, spiritual and psychosocial needs of each individual. The RN/Staffing Manager completes all preadmission, admissions, transfers, and discharges, and management of medical and pharmacological needs of residents.

Responsibilities by Function:

  • Demonstrates an understanding of and models the mission and values of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth through behavior and attitude.

  • Admit, transfer, and discharge of residents as needed.

  • Supervise and monitor performance of Nurse Aides and Lead Techs and assist with direct care as needed.

  • Responsible for accurate observation, and reporting of resident symptoms, change in condition, and progress to physician.

  • Communicate effectively with staff daily; notifying them of changes in care needs for residents

  • Ensure house physician rounds with all residents according to resident needs

  • Direct, support, and schedule daily nursing operations 24/7, ensuring adequate staffing levels, including on call for emergencies.

  • Serve as a direct supervisor to the Nurse Aides, Lead Techs. Responsible for training, coaching, mentoring and directing service plan development, implementation and interventions.

  • Identify and suggest innovative approaches and performance improvement opportunities.

  • Oversee and monitor every aspect of operations to ensure compliance with current federal, state and local regulations.

  • Facilitate orientation and general continuing education and training/competency programs.

  • Create and model a culture to motivate, recruit and maintain staff retention levels.

  • Act as a liaison for residents, families, medical personnel, and the local community.

  • Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity for all clients, families, guests, fellow employees, and other collaborators to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.
